Schaut so aus als wäre es ein Inhibitor der 5-AR Isoenzyme 1 and 2, basierend auf einer speziellen RNA Plattform: siRNA. Zusätzlich scheint es die Gen-Expression des Androgenrezeptors zu inhibieren.

Es soll wohl ähnlich wie Finasterid / Dutasterid funktionieren, jedoch mit überwiegend lokalen Effekten bei topischer Anwendung.
